Our New Logo...
The Disability Pride Flag is a powerful symbol designed to represent the diverse experiences and identities within the disabled community.
It was originally created in 2019 by Ann Magill, a disabled artist, and then redesigned in 2021 for better accessibility (particularly for those with visual impairments or sensory sensitivities).
The 2021 version is now widely recognized and used.

Why It's Important...

-
Visibility: Helps raise awareness and pride in the disabled community.
-
Empowerment: Challenges the stigma and shame historically attached to disability.
-
Solidarity: Shows that disability is diverse—both in type and experience—and that there's strength in unity.
